Sterne Design was approached by the owner of this three bedroom bungalow with the vision to adapt their new property in Saxthorpe into their dream family home. To achieve this we explored and carefully considered multiple options and forms, through concept sketches, design meetings and by using a virtual models which became a core part of the design process. Throughout our clients were keen to achieve a contemporary look for their home, giving us freedom to play with ideas and proportions. Due to the way the land slopes away towards the rear of the property and the fact our clients wanted to achieve a strong connection with their garden, we felt it was important to integrate the landscaping into the design. This has been achieved by a small seating area set to one side with ramped access leading you into the garden.
